Who wants to be your friend forever?

Bottom Line:

in jail. God caused an earthquake that
freed them, but they stayed to tell the
jailer about Jesus.

Interaction

  Cuddle Time:

Cuddle up with your child and pray.
“Dear God, I am so glad You gave
me (name of child) and I get to be his
mommy/daddy. I pray he grows up
knowing You are always with him and
will help him when he has to do hard
things. I pray he will praise You no
matter what is happening in his life.
We love You. In Jesus name, amen.”

Pre-K Parent REDO - Apr. Week 3

Parent Overview

This Month's Basic Truth:

Jesus wants to be my friend forever.

Memory Verse:

“Go and make disciples of all nations.”
Matthew 28:19, NIV

Key Question:

Who wants to be your friend forever?

Bottom Line:

Jesus wants to be my friend forever.

Week 3:

Bible Story:

ACTS 12:1-17
God sent an angel to help Peter get
out of jail so he could tell others
about Jesus.

Interaction

  Bath Time:

Play a whisper game during bath
time. Everything you say has to be
in a whisper. Pretend you’re being
very quiet like Peter was when he
followed the angel out of jail. “Shh
… you don’t want to wake up the
jailer!” But once bath time is over,
make all of the noise you want!
“You’re free! Just like Peter!”

Pre-K Parent REDO - Apr. Week 2

Parent Overview

This Month's Basic Truth:

Jesus wants to be my friend forever.

Memory Verse:

“Go and make disciples of all nations.”
Matthew 28:19, NIV

Key Question:

Who wants to be your friend forever?

Bottom Line:

Jesus wants to be my friend forever.

Week 2:

Bible Story:

MATTHEW 28:19-20
Jesus gave His friends the very special
job of telling others about Him before
He left.

Interaction

  Car Time:

As you drive, say this month’s
memory verse together, but
replace the word “nations” with
the people you see. For example,
if you see a truck driver say, “‘Go
and make disciples of all [truck
drivers],’ Matthew 28:19.” If you
see a grocery clerk say, “‘Go and
make disciples of all [grocery clerks],
Matthew 28:19.” It’s a fun way to
teach your child that Jesus wants
us to “Go and make disciples of all
nations.”
